It's so true, by the way...recently, a short OII moment for me was that I got off a bus in Geulah before Rosh Hashana, and the bus flashed my neighborhood's name on its sign, like it always does, and then flashed "L'Shana Tova!" During the Aseret Yemei Teshuva it flashed "Gmar Chasima Tova"- really cute, no?

Itsagift- I know- but it's hard to remember that the effort is all that's needed, when it continuously doesn't work out, for one reason or another.

My shadchan actually told me (she makes tons of shidduchim all the time) that she seriously should get paid just for doing the calling work before the people go out, because it takes such time and effort just to help with the checking.

And about the friends- it is very true. My single friends don't really know how much I've tried to set them up, because they only get to hear it after I call the guy and go through his mishagas.

Ah well. Hashem is Mizaveg Zivugim, after all.nmf #7https://www.blogger.com/profile/02930286227301917330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389577238129687889.post-32660146035933049572009-10-20T16:01:31.164+02:002009-10-20T16:01:31.164+02:00Itsagift: Thanks!Itsagift: Thanks!Jewish Side of Babysitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15792110478994916775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389577238129687889.post-11223670360170436982009-10-20T15:56:39.283+02:002009-10-20T15:56:39.283+02:00Wow - Mazel tov!
Oh shidduchim...it's soo hard...Wow - Mazel tov!
Oh shidduchim...it's soo hard to redt shidduchim, finally after finding the guy (which is hard enough...), you have to get an okay from BOTH sides!!! Then the dating process (if you get to there)...I think so far I got ONE couple to go out and it was a real no no after the first date! Oh well!
I did try setting people up but there are many times where u convince one side and the other side still says no...but I'll keep trying!!!
My friends may not know the many times I have tried for them because it didn't move anywhere, but I have spent lots and lots of time just trying to get a "yes" which never happened...but Hashem gives you schar just for trying and for the effort you put in so don't give up!itsagifthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06942149774297914315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389577238129687889.post-19827115307198085482009-10-20T15:44:04.169+02:002009-10-20T15:44:04.169+02:00Thanks for the Mazel Tov and the link!

She had made alyah to Israel Summer 2006. So in her speech she talked about "Only in Israel" which reminded me of you, so I figured I'd share a few of the things she said that I thought were cute.

One of them was only in Israel do you have your computer welcome you with Boruch Habah instead of Welcome. That the Mail comes on Sunday instead of Shabbos, which I thought was a good one.Jewish Side of Babysitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15792110478994916775noreply@blogger.com
